Terms of Use
These terms apply to the ScreenDraw Cut app ("the Software") and this website, provided by AdfuseHQ ("we", "us"). By downloading, installing or using the Software you agree to them.
1. Free trial
You may use every feature of the Software free of charge for 14 days from its first launch on your Mac. After the trial, recording and exporting require a valid license key.
2. License
When you buy ScreenDraw Cut you receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install and use the Software on the Macs you personally use, for personal or commercial work. A license is for one person; teams need one license per user. Your license includes all future versions of the Software at no extra cost, including updates, upgrades and new features, for as long as we develop and distribute it.
3. License checks
When your Mac is online, the Software contacts our license server to register the installation and to check that your license is valid, as described in our Privacy Policy. We may block a license that has been refunded, charged back, shared, published or otherwise used in breach of these terms; a blocked license can no longer record or export.
4. Restrictions
You may not share, sell, rent or publish your license key; generate or distribute keys; or reverse-engineer, modify or remove the licensing of the Software, except where the law expressly allows it.
5. Your content
You own everything you record and create with the Software. Recordings are stored on your Mac and are never sent to us. You're responsible for having the right to record what appears on your screen and in your audio.
6. Purchases
Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders, and handles payment, invoicing, taxes, customer service inquiries and returns. Paddle's Buyer Terms apply to your purchase. See our Refund Policy.
7. Third-party components
The Software includes FFmpeg, licensed under the GNU Lesser General Public License 2.1; its licence text is included with the app and its source is available from ffmpeg.org.
8. No warranty
The Software is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law. We don't guarantee that it will be error-free or uninterrupted. Keep backups of recordings that matter to you.
9. Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or loss of data or profits, arising from your use of the Software. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for your license. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that cannot be waived.
10. Termination
Your license ends if you breach these terms, or if your purchase is refunded or charged back. You must then stop using the licensed features.
11. Changes
We may update these terms; the date above shows the latest version. Continuing to use the Software after a change means you accept it.
