Privacy Policy

ScreenDraw Cut is built to keep your work private. This policy explains what data is involved when you use the app, this website and our checkout. AdfuseHQ is responsible for this processing.

The app

Your recordings stay on your Mac. Screen, camera, microphone and system audio are recorded to files on your computer (by default your Movies folder). We never receive them.
No account and no usage analytics. The app doesn't record what you do in it, and never sends your recordings, screen, camera or audio anywhere.
License activation works offline. Your license key is verified on your Mac.
macOS permissions (Screen Recording, Microphone, Camera, Accessibility) are used only for the features you turn on, and stay under your control in System Settings.

What the app sends to us

To manage licenses and prevent abuse (for example shared or refunded keys), the app contacts our license server at launch when your Mac is online:

A device identifier: a one-way hash of your Mac's hardware ID. It lets us count installations; it can't be turned back into your Mac's serial number or hardware ID.
If you've activated a license: your license key and the email address it was issued to.
The app version and operating system (for example "0.1.0" and "macos").

With an activated license, the app also periodically asks the license server whether that license is still valid. If a license has been blocked (for example after a refund, a chargeback or key sharing), recording and exporting are turned off.

We use this information only to provide and protect licenses and to understand how many people use ScreenDraw Cut. We don't sell it or use it for advertising. If you're offline, nothing is sent; the app keeps working (subject to your license).

Purchases

Payments are handled by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle collects the details needed to process your order (such as your name, email, billing country and payment information) under its own Privacy Policy. We receive order information from Paddle (for example your email and order ID) to provide your license and support.

Your license key

When you request your key on our license page, your order ID is sent to our license service, which checks the order with Paddle and returns a key containing your email address and order ID. We don't store anything beyond what Paddle already holds for your order.

This website

This website uses no analytics or advertising cookies. It loads fonts from Google Fonts and, for checkout, Paddle's script; those providers may receive your IP address as part of normal web requests.

Support emails

If you email us, we use your message and address only to help you, and keep them only as long as needed.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct or delete personal data we hold. Contact us and we'll help; for payment data, you can also contact Paddle directly.
